Wearing The Giraffe Shirt With A Pencil Skirt, Tights, And Tennis Shoes

Over the years I always heard some women talk about how they adored heels. I wore heels for awhile in my mid-twenties, but I realized these made my feet feel uncomfortable when I walk. Canvas tennis shoes are easier on my feet, and I believe these are just as cute as heels. Also, who makes up the rules about having to always wear heels anyway? Now that it is nearly winter in Southern California the weather is slightly chiller in the middle of the day. So adding a pair of tights to my pencil skirt and giraffe shirt ensemble help to keep my legs war.

The giraffe shirt featured in the video below has a reprint of my colored pencil drawing of a giraffe standing next to tree branches. He is a tall creature, so his head is up among the branches.

If you like the giraffe shirt, it is available on Zazzle.

Faux Embroidered Palm Tree Shirt

This is a faux embroidered palm tree shirt, but the image has the look of real embroidery because it is a reprint of my cross stitched design. This design is based on drawing I created directly on a piece of Aida cloth, which I cross stitched on the fabric with vibrant colors of thread. This shirt is fun for people who love the palm tree style. Yes, palms are one of my favorite things because these are something that I see all around Southern California, but these trees also remind me of other places I adore places, such as Hawaii.

The faux embroidered palm tree shirt features a reprint of my original palm tree cross stitch design. The palm tree was directly drawn on the Aida cloth, and then stitched on freehand. It is not a traditional cross stitched design since it is was done freehand, but it does have the look of cross stitch.
